Industrial Reverse Osmosis System

Reverse osmosis (RO) is a process that uses semi-permeable spiral wound membranes to separate and remove dissolved solids, organic, pyrogens, submicron colloidal matter, color, nitrate and bacteria from water. Feed water is delivered under pressure through the semi permeable membrane, where water permeates the minute pores of the membrane and is del- ivered as purified water called permeate water. Impurities in the water are concentrated in the reject stream and flushed to the drain is called concentrate water.


RO Machine Features

1. Booster pump: High quality stainless steel 304 pump for long-life usage
2. Sand filter: Using quartz sand to remove all physical impurities larger than 10 micron by FRP with a multi-port valve.
3. Carbon filter: Using coconut-shell activated carbon to remove chlorine, odor & taste by an FRP with a multi-port valve.
4. Softener: Using cation resin to remove salts of calcium, iron, and magnesium that may form scale encrustations by an FRP with a multi-port valve.
5. Security Filter: 5 Micron PP filter cartridge to remove sediments and protect the membranes.
6. High Pressure Pump: High quality stainless steel 304 pump pressurizes the RO system.
7. RO Membrane: Separating and removing dissolved solids, organic matter, pyrogens, submicron colloidal matter, color, nitrate, and bacteria from water.
8. Membrane housing: SUS housings (Pressure at 300 PSI) to install RO membranes.
9. RO Controller: Controls the RO system working; displays quality of feed water and produced water.
10. Pressure Gauges: Monitors the system's operating pressure and pretreatment operating pressures.
11. Pressure Switch: Safety device to protect the H/P pump and RO membrane.
12. Solenoid Valves: Shuts off feed water supply to the system or flushes RO membranes after starting and before stopping the RO system.
13. Regulator Valve: Stainless Steel/Brass adjustable valve to regulate the permeate to concentrate ratio (system’s recovery).
14. Flow meter: Indicates the flow rate of system feed water, waste water, and produced water.
